The Kaohsiung Shoushan Zoo reopened at the end of last year.  On the eve of anniversary celebration of the Kaohsiung Store, the store collaborated with Shoushan Zoo to establish the FEDS Love Connection Volunteer Service Team. For two consecutive years, the team had been assisting in cleaning the zoo’s environment so as to ensure a clean and tidy home for the animals in the zoo. Meanwhile, the public was invited to participate in conservation work, jointly enhance the concept and atmosphere of wildlife conservation in southern Taiwan, and jointly promote the concept of animal conservation and ecological sustainability.

In response to Arbor Day on March 12, Taoyuan Store called on its employees to plant three Fuji cherry trees at 405 Triangulation Point, Dadong Mountain. This area will serve as the starting point for Taoyuan Store and the greening adoption project for Tuzikeng. Subsequently in May, July, September, and November, the employees will be accompanied by 10 volunteers from Tuzikeng to return to 405 Triangulation Point, Dadong Mountain to fertilize and water the cherry trees adopted by Taoyuan Store, while also maintaining the mountain and forest environment and greening the Guishan vicinity. Planting trees not only beautifies the environment but also helps to reduce carbon emissions. Through the Little Tree Project which Taoyuan Store was driving, a total of six cherry trees were adopted in 2023. Employees were also invited to serve as environmental volunteers to regularly fertilize and water the small trees, while maintaining the mountain and forest environment. A total of 50 individuals have participated.

In April 2023, employees of Mega City Banqiao Store took part in the Spring Season Spotless Riverside Cleaning event jointly organized by four cities in northern Taiwan to clear the bank of PET bottles, nylon strings, plastic bags, etc. A total of 12,000 kg of general waste and 2,700 kg of recyclable materials were collected. Tainan Store also participated in a large-scale spring season beach cleaning event organized by the Environmental Protection Bureau of Tainan City Government. Around 1,300 individuals, including private enterprise groups, environmental volunteers, and foreigners, participated and cleared a total of 650kg of waste within two hours. These initiatives provided visitors with a clean and safe beach environment and helped prevent garbage from entering the ocean, thereby contributing to the protection of marine ecology.

In October 2023, Kaohsiung Store organized a mountain cleaning event, bringing employees outdoors to Shoushan to clean the mountain so as to achieve the sustainable goal of protecting the environment and caring for mountains. Approximately 200 individuals participated and covered a total hiking distance of nearly 1,080 km, equivalent to circling Taiwan once. In the event, the employees acted as mountain forest cleaners to pick up trash while hiking accompanied with environmental protection, exercising and fitness. As enjoying the fresh air of nature, the participants took action to keep mountains clean and promoted that litter free, environment protection starts with me. After all, one small action can reduce garbage in mountain.

In September 2023, to care for the dietary health of children in childcare institutions, 10 corporate volunteers from Banqiao Store collaborated with the Green box to participate in an agriculture-based volunteer service activity. Together, they planted 4,480 vegetable seedlings, which was anticipated to yield 100 catties of vegetables to be provided to six childcare institutions to enjoy safe and nutritious vegetables.
