This year's survey covered 1,200 companies across 72 industry categories, estimating that FEDS will control global temperature rise to 1.492°C by 2100, lower than the department store industry average of 1.536°C and the overall corporate average of 1.998°C, making it the most outstanding performer in the department store and retail industry, demonstrating the company's firm commitment to combating climate crisis.

Facing increasingly severe global climate change challenges, FEDS actively integrates energy conservation and carbon reduction into its core business operations, establishing five major action directions: "energy conservation, carbon reduction, green energy, waste reduction, and green procurement." On April 11th, Taichung City Far Eastern Department Stores, together with the brand J&NINA team, visited Taichung City Boyuma Elementary School to understand the difficulties faced by rural areas schools in terms of educational resources, student life, and teaching environment. Far Eastern Department Stores actively implements ESG concepts and invited the Tainan City Government and Siraya National Scenic Area Management to jointly launch the "ESG Tree Planting for Two Years, Planting New Hope for Carbon Reduction" activity on March 21. Representatives such as Nancy Hsu President and Vice President Lin Chang feng planted 6 purple flowered wind Suzuki trees and 40 Chinese toon trees at the Nanhua Tourist Center in Siraya Scenic Area, Tainan City. In the future, tree planting activities will also be promoted in other county and city bases, striving to achieve the goal of net zero carbon reduction.

In response to Arbor Day and International Forest Day, the Chiayi branch of the Forestry and Conservation Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture will hold a seedling giving event from March 12th to 21st. Anyone holding three invoices can exchange for one pot of saplings. The event will send out a total of 300 saplings, hoping to cultivate the public's love for forests and afforestation. On March 15th, a special "Parent Child Pottery Decoration Gift" parent-child activity is planned, looking forward to every little sapling accompanying children's growth.
