Art Platform
FEDS actively engages in arts and cultural philanthropy, often co-organizing a wide range of arts and cultural activities with local governments, schools, and social organizations. The department store space served as a platform for art and cultural exchange, fostering local cultural charm while promoting cultural exchange and traditional craftsmanship. Members of the public can immerse themselves in the artistic atmosphere so as to create a distinctive cultural landscape within the community. It transforms FEDS into a culturally vibrant retail company.
Promoting Transnational Cultural Exchange
FEDS was Taiwan’s first department store to host international product exhibitions. In 1973, FEDS partnered with the U.S. Department of Commerce to launch its first American merchandise exhibition, establishing a platform for global cultural exchange. Over five decades, FEDS has organized diverse international exhibitions featuring cultural elements, foods, and specialty products from around the world, enabling consumers to experience global cultures locally. In 2025, FEDS held 27 international exhibitions featuring countries including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Canada across its locations, promoting cultural diversity and international exchange.
In addition, FEDS integrated international product exhibitions with charitable initiatives, extending care through cross-border material sharing. During the 2025 exhibitions, FEDS donated 9 batches of aid materials worth NT$168,000 to rural children and disadvantaged elderly groups, adding social care value to cultural exchange.

Aomori Hirosaki Product Exhibition
FEDS continues to promote Taiwan-Japan cultural exchange through its 14-year partnership with Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, hosting the "Aomori Hirosaki City Cultural Products Carnival." In 2025, the 55-day event toured FEDS branches , featuring Aomori apples directly sourced from Japan. -
Korean Product Exhibition
FEDS organize the "Korean Wave Charm at FEDS" Korean Product Exhibition, which entered its 13th year in 2025. The event toured FEDS branches, eaturing authentic Korean foods, snacks, and beverages to showcase Korea's diverse food culture. -
Thailand Product Exhibition
In 2025, FEDS launched three Thailand-themed product exhibitions at FEDS XinYi A13, FEDS Zhubei, and Kaohsiung Store over 74 days, bringing Thai culture and experiences to consumers in Taiwan.





Sponsored Christmasland in New Taipei City for 14 Consecutive Years
FEDS has long supported local events and has sponsored New Taipei City’s annual highlight, “Christmasland in New Taipei,” for 14 consecutive years, celebrating the festive Christmas season with the community. In 2025, “Christmasland in New Taipei” successfully boosted local tourism, making it a particularly eye-catching Christmas landmark.
Four Consecutive Years Supporting Heritage Site Visits, Passing on Local Culture
FEDS has long been committed to arts, culture, and public welfare, actively promoting the preservation of Taiwan’s local heritage. For four consecutive years, FEDS has sponsored the “Far Eastern Architectural Award – Heritage Site Visits.” This year, in partnership with affiliated companies U-Ming Marine Transport and the Yuan-Tze Hsu Memorial Foundation, FEDS led the public on a tour through Tamsui’s historic settlements, offering an in-depth look at the area’s cultural heritage and architectural charm.
Guided throughout by renowned historians and architecture experts, the tour introduced participants to Tamsui’s historical development and architectural aesthetics. The route covered landmark Chinese and Western historic buildings, including Yinshan Temple, Tamsui Longshan Temple, Tamsui Presbyterian Church, and Fort San Domingo, allowing visitors to experience firsthand the architectural splendor born from the blending of different eras and cultures. The event drew a total of 345 participants, who joined together to witness the beauty of historic architecture and the value of cultural preservation.
