Green Transportation Accelerates Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction

In 2025, FEDS continued to support green transportation initiatives by implementing four action plans: encouraging employees to use public transportation (or carpool for business trips), providing shuttle services for customers, optimizing official vehicle management mechanism, and proactively managing traffic during annual sales events.

Over 70% of Employees Travel by Public Transportation

Since 2017, FEDS has encouraged employees to use public transportation for business trips. Over 67,000 employees have responded to this initiative, with a response rate exceeding 70% for the past 9 years. In 2025, a total of 7,630 employee trips used public transport for business travel, a proportion of 75%. Additionally, 4,275 employees applied for shared rides in company vehicles in 2025, resulting in an estimated savings of approximately 15,324 liters of gasoline and a reduction of approximately 44.9 metric tons of carbon emissions, contributing to a comprehensive effort to reduce transportation-related carbon emissions.

Shuttle Service Serves Over 500,000 Passengers in Five Years

To provide customers with more low-carbon transport options, the FEDS Zhubei has set up a shuttle service connecting MRT stations, train stations, and major surrounding transport nodes, encouraging customers to travel to the store by combining public transport with the shuttle. This initiative not only reduces carbon emissions from customer transportation, but also improves air quality, and promotes smoother traffic flow around the stores, providing the surrounding neighborhoods with a more environmentally friendly and comfortable living environment. In 2025, the shuttle service reached 98,000 trips, an increase of 11% compared to 2024, with cumulative ridership over the past five years reaching 506,000.

Optimizing Official Vehicle Management and Introducing Green Vehicles

FEDS has a total of 19 official vehicles, of which 12 use the “lease-rather-than-buy” model to enhance dispatch flexibility and enable regular equipment updates. Of these, 1 is already a hybrid model, and in the future FEDS will prioritize the adoption of low-carbon or new-energy vehicles when leases expire, progressively increasing the proportion of green vehicles.

Preemptively Manage Traffic During Events

To address the traffic congestion caused by the annual sales event, FEDS proactively communicates with local transportation authorities and police departments before the event. FEDS implements traffic guidance measures to ensure smooth traffic flow and minimize the impact on the local community during the event.
